Albert Einstein figured out what is known as of one of the most famous formulas discovered by made kind over 105 years ago E = MC2.

Once Einstein figured out this formula it changed the way we thought about time and space providing us a better understanding about the universe we live in. Discovering this formula also enabled us to make the atomic bomb and atomic energy.

When you know how something works it really gives you a giant to stand on while looking for precision in how all the pieces relate.

The goal of science is to really figure out the formula for everything so you then have the ability to destroy or create, make ill or heal. Formulas provide certainty as it has a predictable result.

Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants

The great part about Albert Einstein discovering E = MC2 it benefits everyone, it is not like it only work for Albert and not you or I and this is the same with any goal you ever want to achieve. Tony Robbins talks all the time about modelling people, which means find someone who has already achieved what you and simple copy or model what they did/do.

When you model someone you are simply following the formula to achieving that outcome. Many people hesitate or are afraid to take action on ideas that come to them because they think ‘what if it doesn’t work out?’

What about the old classic self help positive thinking chant ‘What would you wish for if you knew you could not fail?’

This is a great question but without the certainty it is easy to soon let the energy dissipate, however if you follow a formula then this question really starts to build strength and certainty of the outcome.

So what do you want, if you knew you could not fail? Now go and find someone who has already achieved and maintained what you want to achieve, if you can’t be with them personally then read their blog, watch their videos, read their books, go though their courses.

I remember it like it was yesterday, it was a Monday morning, I was broke, just been laid off from work, rent was building up, my girlfriend left me and took everything even the dog. I was sitting on a cardboard box looking at the space where my TV used to be.

I had nothing left except for my outdated laptop and my dial up internet connection, so I fired up my laptop, connected to the internet and BANG! Tuesday morning arrives and I am a Zillionaire!!!

How many times have you heard that! If you have ever read a sales letter or done a search about how to make money on the internet no doubt you have read and heard similar stories where some kid barely out of college goes from nothing to hero over night – dubbed the “Overnight Success”.

These stories are great; they inspire people, and even allow people to think bigger thoughts and see possibilities that may have only been a fantasy before and not to mention these kinds of stories make a great marketing hook.

What 99% of these success stories fail to mention is all the hard work, practice and dark hours it took for these people to become that “Overnight Success”.

I don’t care who you admire or look up to but what I can tell you is that they didn’t get to where they are simply by striking it luck overnight.

There are months and years or blood, sweat and tears these people have to go though just to make their success look easy or like they have some kind of special talent that the average person cannot obtain.  The old saying “When there is a will there is a way” is the underlining motto of almost every success ever told.

As an internet marketer there are many times when it gets tough, I know for myself most of my friends simply don’t understand what I am doing and think it is some kind of scam. It can be tough when you spend all the money you have on a project only for it to fail and not make a dime and it is a dark time when your family tell you are wasting your time and to grow up!

At the end of the day this adversary is what drives many of these success stories to find a way that is what I love about this Michael Jordan commercial. Most look at him on the court and think wow, he truly is talented and gifted…if only we knew the truth.

A good friend of mine shared this with me, I liked it so much I thought I would share it with you. Sometimes it is good to be reminded of the small but powerful nuggets of wisdom to keep you track. To your happiness!

• Take a 10 – 30 minute walk every day and while you walk, smile.

• Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes everyday

• Sleep for 7 hours

• Live with the 3 E’s Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy

• Play more games

• Read more books than you did in 2009

• Drink plenty of water

• Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in a plant

• Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a beggar

• Make time to practice meditation and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives

• Dream more while you are awake

• Smile and laugh more

• Try to make at least 3 people smile each day

• Don’t waste your precious energy on gossip

• Don’t have negative thoughts about things you cannot control instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

• Spend time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6

• Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

• Don’t take yourself so seriously, no one else does.

• Forget issues of the past. Don’t remind your partner with his/her mistakes of the past. This will ruin your present happiness.

• Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like algebra class, the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.

• You don’t have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

• Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

• Make peace with your past so it won’t spoil the present

• Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch

• Forgive everyone for everything

• What other people think of you is none of your business

• However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

• Get rid of anything that is not useful, beautiful or joyful.

• Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.

• The best is yet to come

• No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.

• Don’t overdo, keep your limits.

• Your inner most is always happy. So be happy.

• Do the right things.

• Call your family often

• Each day give something good to others.

A friend shared this video with me today; I thought it was so powerful that I just had to share it with you. Many of us are so scared to fail that we don’t even try; this is what is meant when people say that the fear of success holds us back.

No one wants to fail, we all want to be winners however you really need to change your mindset if you want to achieve anything worthwhile and look at failure in a different light.

If you are not failing you are not getting out of your comfort zone, if you are not getting out of your comfort zone you are not stretching yourself and ultimately you will not achieve your goals, unless your goals are to stay the exact same way you are now.

When I first started my career in direct sales, I was selling home security systems door to door, do you think I experienced failure? You bet I did.

To become the top sale consultant 2 years in a row before opening my own office I had to change my attitude towards failure. I changed my beliefs to not take failure personally and to think of it as nothing more than a learning experience.
