The Power which promises to show readers how to attain everything they want, is scheduled to be released on August
A friend shared this video with me today; I thought it was so powerful that I just had to share it with you. Many of us are so scared to fail that we don’t even try; this is what is meant when people say that the fear of success holds us back.
No one wants to fail, we all want to be winners however you really need to change your mindset if you want to achieve anything worthwhile and look at failure in a different light.
If you are not failing you are not getting out of your comfort zone, if you are not getting out of your comfort zone you are not stretching yourself and ultimately you will not achieve your goals, unless your goals are to stay the exact same way you are now.
When I first started my career in direct sales, I was selling home security systems door to door, do you think I experienced failure? You bet I did.
To become the top sale consultant 2 years in a row before opening my own office I had to change my attitude towards failure. I changed my beliefs to not take failure personally and to think of it as nothing more than a learning experience.
Do you know what you want? I mean exactly in detail what you want? If you can’t answer that question with a clear, concise confident answer I beg you to sit down for a few minutes, a hour, however long it takes, lock the door, turn off the phone use your imagination and brainstorm and work out what you want.
What you want in the next 3 months, next 12 months, next 5 years. If you could do, be, have anything, live life any way you could what would this look like, sound like how would you feel?
You owe it to yourself to do this. This is perhaps the most important question you will ever answer in your life.
Clarity is power!
Most people have no idea what they want, sure everyone wants more money, good health, loving relationship, etc, however this is not good enough there is no power in being general.
What you need to define how much money do you want, how many hours do you want to work a day and what type of work. When you are not working what would you do to fill your time, what new hobbies would you pursue.
If you want better health, what does this mean to you? Does it mean doing 100 push ups in 30 minutes, being flexible to do the splits or run a 4 minute mile?
What kind of person and relationship do you want, what things you would do together, how would they treat you, etc.
The more time you spend on this and the more details and clarity you get the more power it will have. If you have not done this yet I sincerely hope you take the time to get really clear on exactly what you want.

This time of year is an eye opener for most people, most of us reflect back on how the year was, what we did, what we didn’t do and what we are going to aim for in the future, many people set New Year resolutions and gain a new focus.
One of my new focuses this year is on exponential growth in business, relationships, health and personal growth. In this post I am going to share with you a video from one of my mentors showing a technique to leverage what you already know to gain exponential growth.
But first let’s define what exponential growth is.
I only high school formal education and I like to keep things simple and explain them in simply terms.
I like to think of exponential growth as when things are increasing in an out-of-control way.
To help illustrate this “out-of-control way of growth” let’s take a look at the power of compounding.
Imagine for a moment we were about to have a game of golf and just before we tee off on the first hole I say to you, to make this game a little more interesting how about we bet 10 cents per hole and double it every hole. You think to yourself that’s sounds ok, really…how big it can grow…
Let’s have a look shall we.
Hole 1 – $0.10
Hole 2 – $0.20
Hole 3 – $0.40
Hole 4 – $0.80
Hole 5 – $1.60
Hole 6 – $3.20
Hole 7 – $6.40
Hole 8 – $12.80
Hole 9 – $25.60 (half way)
Hole 10 – $51.20
Hole 11 – $102.40
Hole 12 – $204.80
Hole 13 – $409.60
Hole 14 – $819.20
Hole 15 – $1638.40
Hole 16 – $3276.80

Now starting from $0.10 I bet you didn’t think that you would end up betting $819.20 by hole #14 let along a whopping $13,107.20 by the 18th.
This is exponential growth or increasing in an out-of-control way!
Now imagine having that kind of growth in your business or in your personal life. You can and it all starts with doing small actions ($0.10) and compounding them over time. This is what 2010 is all about for me and you can gain this kind of growth from what you already know, the only issue is that you don’t know it (yet)
