Well, well, well…it has been quite a while since I last posted something on here and I apologize for I have been flat-out getting new projects going and well…just been lazy.

What I want to share with you today are some of the findings I have found after some small facebook advertising tests I have done.

Fist up I have to tell you that I have not had much luck with PPC in the past, most of the time I lost money or broke even and just didn’t know how to leverage it to become profitable in a big way.

However, like myself I am sure you have been hearing more and more about facebook ads and for good reason facebook has some extremely impressive stats when it comes to traffic, I believe they have over 400 million users now, with the average user spending up to 55 minutes EVERY day on facebook and that is only scratching the surface.

The first thing you will want to do is look around to see if you can find some free money!

I found a couple of facebook ad coupons that gave me some free money to start myself off, you can find one of them here or type in ‘facebook ad coupons’ in Google and search around.

The products that I personally found to convert well are game related products, like ‘how to unlocking your wii’, ‘Farmville secrets’ type of products.

The only problem is that most of these products only pay out around $20 commission which doesn’t leave much room for profit margin.

The cheapest clicks I got were an average 0.06 cents this happened when my CTR was around 2% or better. I found when it was lower than that I would pay between 0.12 cents – 0.30 cents a click. I believe Facebook ads can work if you employ the right strategy.

Some Tips For Getting The Most Out Of Your Facebook Ads:

Create landing pages that capture names and emails, this way if your campaign isn’t profitable you still walk away with a return of investment. I also believe this is the best way to sell high ticket items to facebook users.

A lot of people are saying that facebook users don’t like ads, and whether this is true or not, I don’t think it really matters, what the reason cause is, is the mind frame of the average facebook user, people go to facebook to socialize, talk to friends, get the latest gossip, escape from work, cure boredom, etc.

Someone in that mind frame is not the most likely candidate to suddenly purchase a product worth $1000, yet!  But if you get this people to opt in to you list and you build trust by providing great value then these people will be more willing to part with their hard-earned cash when they are in the appropriate mind frame.

Extra Tips – Getting Traffic From Facebook

One very interesting statistic I heard recently is that 20 million people join fan pages on facebook everyday. The cool thing about facebook fan and group pages is that you can email and market to these people as often as you like.

Start creating groups and fan pages that will go viral within the facebook community – I am starting to do a lot more of this and I will keep you updated on my findings.

Imagine if you had access to a true simple yes or no answer to any question you wished to ask? Think about it…

There are the obverse questions many would ask…” is Cheryl seeing anyone else?”…”is the check really in the mail?” However this would only be a short step to…”is this a safe investment?” or “is this career worth pursuing?”

If everyone had this access to this power it could have radical implications such as “is this political telling the truth?” or “is this drug really good for me?” and everyone got the same answer.

It has been said that an hour after man learnt to talk he learnt to lie.

What would happen to advertising?

In his book Power Vs Force Dr David Hawkins uses Kinesiology – the study of muscles and their movements to demonstrate that we all do have this power.

The test he describes and uses is very easy and can be used by anyone.
